AC Shadows Unveils Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected partnership that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the official statement, "An unusual confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret sect.
The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Transformations
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will obtain an special katana alongside several objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
